The **Now Eating** Thread

Yeah we have those fancy Italian ones in mine. I got one once. The little bottle of chilli oil it comes with was potent!

Just got a Bonanza Burger on the way home. Basically a cheeseburger with a big heap of donner meat on top. With a generous splash of chilli sauce. No pic as it didn't survive the walk home, but it was gooooooood! *burp*

and don't bother buying the silly over priced crackers, just buy the seeds.
mix 2 parts seeds with one part water. Refrigerate overnight, roll out between geese proof paper then bake for roughly 40 minutes.

First attempt at a 'breakfast tart'. Bacon, cheese, onion, egg & seasoning.

Grease a muffin tray and add bacon to it (2 rashers in a cross shape), pushing it down to make a basket. Add the onion and cheese, and then the seasoning with the egg cracked on top.

Then chuck it in the oven, around 180 for about 15-20 minutes.

Add extra seasoning if needed.

was going to make an omelette, but couldn't be bothered, still needed calories, and as its a saturday.
Cheese stings wrapped in bacon and fried till crispy and melty.

That sounds nice and simple. I must give that a try. If baking for 40 minutes, I'm presuming at a sort of moderate temperature?

175c last batch came out slightly verr done, seems to change from one batch to another, so keep an eye on it, it'll be bendy, but crisps up when cools

Got lunch from Dom's today. A medium pizza, half pepperoni passion, half chicken feast. A side of meatballs and a bottle of coke zero. £15.99.

Not exactly a great deal, but my options were limited.

Meatballs looks like a good portion size for £3.99, how were they?

No doubt they'll go up to something silly like £6 once people start buying them more frequently like they did with wedges.

I tried the meatballs the other week, they're just the same ones they use as a topping covered in pizza sauce and cheese so nothing to shout about but like said for the price it's quite a decent portion.
Still don't beat chicken kickers as my goto side.

Oh yes! That looks great! I didn't know they did meatballs though. Dom's have a Buy One, get another for £1 offer on all week here so I may order tonight or tomorrow. *goes to check the menu for sides*

Edit: Yep they do them! I tend to order Doughballs on instinct as they're so moreish. I'll try these meatballs with my next order :)

I'd have rather had kickers as well, definitely my favourite. Sadly the meal deal had a limited number of sides you could choose from and kickers wasn't one of them.
