Took the old man out for a belated Father's Day lunch today. I offered him anywhere he wanted to go, but he's unfussy to a fault and left it to me to choose. Since I had a Birthday Burger to claim on my rewards app at GBK that was about to expire, that seemed like a good choice. We both went for the new special, the Big Mouth burger (6oz beef patty, Big Mouth beer cheese, bacon monster crunch, smoked chilli mayo, beef ketchup, salad, brioche bun), a chilli fried chicken bites, we split a portion of chunky fries and he had a diet coke, while I had a mango milkshake. Good meal. Excellent burger :)

Of course only on the way home did he recall a Brazilian place called Viva Brazil he's wanted to try. Oi vey. Lucky its his birthday soon, so I'll take him for dinner then :p
 
Man, I want some of those burgers.

Instead. Chicken, broccoli and cauliflower in mustard sauce. God, I forgot how good mustard sauce is, especially Dijon.
