Breakfast at All Bar One. Smashed avocado and poached eggs on toasted sourdough. Light and tasty :)

And lunch at GBK, trying out their summer special, the Prawnstar. Really enjoyed this burger a lot! And I was able to claim some free skinny fries using my rewards app :D

While your review could be construed as a little know-it-all, their reply to you really is pathetic. It reminds me of some of the folk you see on The Hotel Inspector who simply cannot accept any form of (constructive) criticism and really makes them look like a complete douche.

In my review, whilst I can see how it comes across a little know it all, especially given the title I had given it but I'd thought I give a background of at least where I set the bar. But I also had given reasons and legitimate points on why it was bad for the areas that it was. Like the egg isn't marinated as it should as evident by the lack of colour on the outside of it.

In terms of how the broth tastes, I stand by that. It's too salty and the standard I set isn't really for it to be like Japan, the standard is that I couldn't bring myself to finish the food because it was to salty. Any food that salty to the point that you can't finish the meal is bad in my book.

Breakfast today at Patisserie Valerie. Smashed avocado and poached egg on toasted bloomer bread. Very nice :)

And lunch today at Six By Nico's, which is turning into my favourite restaurant, even if I do only go to it about once every 6 weeks.

The Mexico theme was really good. My favourite course was the Elote one. The cheese sauce through the sweetcorn risotto was excellent and went so well with the chorizo. The dessert was a close second.
