A big bowl of semolina and jam.

^^ Nice. :)

There's something lovely and hearty about a big bowl of cereal. I had a mahoosive bowl of porridge earlier (none of the piddly sized serving suggestions on the box :D).

it is home made semolina ? ... can see the best bit ... the lumps ... now waiting for the frog-spawn version

edit : that was one of those chocolate shavings puds at school - but jam is best

Yep, basically homemade, and lumps are the best. :) 40g waitrose semolina powder, 25g sugar, 600ml milk. Stir continuously until it boils and then slow simmer for 20 minutes.
The frog spawn version will be either Sago or Tapioca, I love both of those! Always been a milk pudding fan. It's a bit of a marmite thing. People love or hate milk puddings.

If I open a burger shop, it would look something like this. Authentic, no moving bits of bacon to the front or anything. Made it, wrapped it in foil, took it to work (5min drive) upwrapped and snap. True representation of what you will get lol

the burger looks like it has been filmed with a professional green sheet ? ready for the cgi.

rice flakes make a good (& quick vs full ovened rice) pudding too , we discovered Natco Powa rice flakes cheapish at local Asian store, but would like to try brown rice flakes
boiled rice with golden syrups, another, good one.

Ooh yeah, anything with golden syrup is good in my books!

Looked forward to trying Taco Bell ever since watching Demolition Man back in the 90s as a kid. Today I’ve come to the conclusion I should have just left it to the imagination as has ruined a childhood dream (that might be a bit strong)

Anyhow had one open near us so excitedly decided we would try it out. This is what was advertised

This is what we got and everything in order was like this

Taco Bell is terrible. When the Croydon one opened up I was so happy and then I had one meal and it was awful, truly awful. I think my wife makes better Mexican and she's awful at making anything remotely spicy and having a depth of flavour.

McDonald's truly better than this muck and that's saying something.

Got a refund for order £38.99, first time I’ve ever complained about delivery food. You make do if the odd thing is missing (or ask for it to be sent out or heck even go and collect) If it’s cold etc what ever will just warm up but this warranted a complaint.

Deliveroo were excellent I just hope it didn’t cost them but rather stopped payment to restaurant.

I remember going to the States back in 2012 and I was in the car with my friend (local), I said “oooh Taco Bell! Let’s go there!” She thought I was insane and said they put the worst quality meat in Taco Bell, it’s junk. Some reason that hit me hard in my desire of wanting to try it and then never have, I’ve walked passed plenty since but they comment have stuck in my head. I’ve had tacos since but never from Taco Bell.
