The **Now Eating** Thread

beans in a pot is a crime, otherwise decent.
Typical of this namby pamby world we live in, where some wet wipes are put on the verge of a nervous breakdown if a drop of bean juice so much as touches their egg white.

Im just waiting for the day when someone claims compensation for being mentally traumatised by unsatisfactory bean and egg separation

that looks lovely what is poolish ?
Its basically a starter which is then added to make your dough.
I got it from here
"poolish"
150 gm water
150 gm 00 Flour
3gm yeast
3gm honey
Mix everything
then keep it for 1 hour at room temperature to activate
leavened it then put it in the fridge 16 to24 hours

To make the "pizza dough"

use all the poolish
add 350 gm water
then 625 gm flour
18 gm salt
mix leave for 30mins in bowl or the bench
then the fun part
olive oil your hands and lift from the middle and make a balloon
repeat 3-4 times and the dough will form fast into a round ball oily dough then rest 15min slice then ball up

And.... I have failed! I looked online on Just Eat for a Turkish style place that sells both pizza and curries. The problem is even the ones that sell both don't seem to have the option to buy containers of curry sauce. I did find one, but when it arrived this is what I got. Not Indian style sauce, Chinese style. I tried it since I had it, and yeah dunking the cheesy pizza into the sauce was quite nice. But I really wanted a nice Indian curry sauce. Even the generic "curry sauce" would do, or preferably a Tikka masala or butter masala style sauce. I'll keep looking, might also try other food delivery sites to expand the search. We'll see what happens.

That's annoying, waiting and salivating at the thought of dipping your pizza in a nice curry sauce...then ending up with that. Don't get me wrong I quite like a Chinese curry sauce with chips but its not as nice as a BIR sauce.

True. At least the pizza was nice. I can't remember the last time I ordered a plain cheese. Not sure when I'll next want to order pizza, but fingers crossed the next attempt will be more successful.

Tbh I've never seen a pizza place that does a masala type sauce, id probably have to get a pizza somewhere then pop along the road to get a curry :p
