The **Now Eating** Thread

had the McCrispy deluxe. Quite impressed tbh. Crispy chicken, decent bacon for once, proper cheese and a nice fresh bun with good sauces. Enjoyed it very much. Was filling too.

Tried the new "Metro" (read as: Subway style) rolls from Aldi. Had both the Italian and Italian Herbs & Cheese varities. Both were very good.

Made a simple meatball sub with green chillies and parmegano sprinkled on top - toasted obviously. Came in at a whopping 1895kcal and 67g protein! Perhaps I should have just had one... :D

If Kim Kardashian made a burger bun.

Mate dont get a Uni Oven, its gonna be caked in old cheese and spaghetti sauce

The offensiveness of this comment has only just set in..

I’d be having plenty of “Dolmio” days

"Mallorcan Breakfast" - toasted tomato bread, tomatoes, fried egg, chorizo, black pudding, sanfire, olives and chillies

Nom! Need to sleep it off on the sun lounger now :D
what part of Mallorca are you in?

My brother went Alcudia last month and couldn’t wait to get home. Said it was an awful place full of rude Spaniards and stupidly overpriced restaurants.

We are about 1.5miles outside Port Du Alcudia which is where I suspect you mean. It's no great at all

Alcudia old town is lovely - that's where we were last night. Having a trip to Port Du Pollencia today :)

E: Just to add the restaurant prices are similar (imo) to home (nowhere near as cheap as years gone by) the value however (quality and portions) vary drastically

We are eating at bit higher quality restaurants which are a few euro per dish more but a.much more enjoyable experience.

We can get a free shuttle bus from the hotel to Port Du Alcudia but would much rather bus / taxi to the old town as infinitely nicer

The pine walk is incredible. The Agatha Christie hotel worth a high tea (y)
