The **Now Eating** Thread

I fell like @JonRGV250 needs a bread thread to share some of these creations cause they always look good.

I should make bread more often…did a fair bit during lockdown times then got out of the habit. Though will be making some pizza dough later ready for the weekend

Why the ice tho? Wouldn't water produce more steam?
Possibly, but it’s the way I’ve always done it, and I only want steam for a short while.
I started doing it because my loaves kept splitting.
A crust formed too quickly whilst the dough underneath was still rising and whilst it looked kinda trendy it was a pain to slice.
 
Ended up shopping for longer than expect and bought more meat, which had to be chopped up and sorted out, so the Korean beef turned into a quick pressure cook and Speedi for rice and veg, with beef dipped in flour, corn starch, Kashmiri chilli's and gochujang and shallow fried for a crispy beef.

Family get together tomorrow, so as usual I'm tasked with bringing bread.
Tear 'n' share on the left is milk, egg, sugar & lots of butter, and when I say lots of butter, I mean 100g+ in the dough and a glaze before, during and after baking with melted butter.
It's a heart attack on a plate, but worth it (if one survives)
Rolls are egg, milk and olive oil with a slight crust..
