Slow cooked pork shoulder with cheesy mash.

The pork is so delicious it reinforces my assertion that the pork I get from Macbeths is the best pork I've ever eaten.

Mash made with Maris Piper tatties, mature Scottish cheddar, a dollop of Colman's English Mustard, a handful of chopped fresh parsley (still growing in my back yard) and salt and pepper. I also poured a little of the fat from the roasting tin into the mash and it has lifted the flavour beautifully.

I didn't bother with photos as it's not pretty - sadly, you can't convey deliciousness over t'web.
 
had the midnight munchies and no snack-able food in the cupboard...
double cheese burger, chicken mayo n fries soon sorted me out :D (first Maccy D's for ~1 month :eek: )
 
Went to see Django Unchained with some friends last night, so we went for dinner beforehand to pizza hut. Had a regular BBQ meat feast with stuffed crust. I didn't have any popcorn or fizzy drinks at the cinema though, so I don't think I went too far off my diet.

Will just have to workout extra hard at the gym tomorrow morning to try and burn off some of those pizza calories :o
