And not a shortbread in sight :P

I know I’ve said this more than once before, but

So after a few months of experimentation with many different eggs, prices and breeds of hens that pushed them out, I can report that the last page or two of my poached eggs, have been made with the select yourself Morrison's white eggs.

These hold their shape really well, with very little input needed and regardless of age (within reason) hold their shape and have very little wastage of the white as they poach and as a bonus the yokes are reasonably tasty.

I struggled quite a bit with more expensive eggs and those with richer yokes, including given to me rare breeds and friends free range eggs.

Those I struggled with imo would be better suited to those little poached egg ramekins which is something I do now and then in the Speedi air fryer on air/steam settings.

Next study will be: What banana is best to use when making Banana Ketchup :D

The quality definitely shows the time and effort going into making those eggs!

I just got back from Morrisons. Rarely go there as it is out of the way but I fancied some of their wheat, spelt + rye bread. The mrs called me as I was driving away with my shopping saying she forgot to put eggs on the list, but it was too late. Now I see this I'm going to have to go back :p

Thanks for the tip :)

Not sure I have tried those, but if you came looking for beef and mustard crisps, you will leave disappointed as these were so shy of beef flavour I'm sure they could have passed for Mustard and Badger flavour..
Exactly! They were extremely mustardy - no whiff of beef

That's how they got the nick name Meef and B*****d flavour :D
