Ciabata roll cut in two, brushed with extra virgin olive oil and griddled. Rubbed with garlic and topped with anchovies marinated in lemon and garlic from Sainsbury's. Anchovies a little acidic but tasty nonetheless.
i should be posting a pic of a double whopper with cheese right now but there were so many cars at the french eurotunnel terminal it took ages to get through check in, got to BK in the terminal to be greated with a huge que and 7 mins till my train left

actually I was expecting something a bit whiffy - sell by date due, reduced several times, dead eye, but it was fine.
decided to cut the head/tail/fins off, which was when I realised just how tough fish are, this knife previously whizzed through meat&veg but really struggled on this. It's probably due a resharpening session.
Also had a Stella Artois Cidre, a bit sweet but cheap for an appley tasting cider.
Cats were in luck tonight, I'd rescued some chicken from a friends fridge.
