Beef shin stew.

It's our quick and easy one pot goodness.

Waitrose do packs of beef shin and ready chopped veg. Cut up the beef, brown it off, sling in the veg, couple of tins of chopped tomatoes et voila

Been out for afternoon tea with my sister - drool. Was amazing.

Mini prawn cocktail, roasties with aioli, spiced parsnip soup, sausage roll, and a turkey, stuffing and cranberry sandwich.

Chocolate orange brownie, cream scone, mini trifle, mince pie, gingerbread Christmas tree, candy canes, Quality Streets... and an orange.

With a strawberry milkshake (could have chosen mulled wine). And a glass of prosecco.

Soooooo full!

Used the leftover Christmas turkey for soup, threw in a few Aunt Bessies stuffing balls to make an interesting sage and dumpling thing. It's not bad.

Damn that looks half decent for a work canteen.

As for robfosters what's wrong with you a good stew is always good. Although I like them with a bit more body and thicker than that one was.

Been in the kitchen all day making the Finnish Christmas dinner for tonight and some cakes and puddings for the actual Christmas eve and day.

Cant wait to eat the dinner in about 50 mins time, smells awesome. Pictures to follow :D
