Halibut in butter and olive oil with roasted veg.

Cauliflower was par boiled then roasted with olive oil, salt and pepper.

That fish looks perfect, roast cauliflower is a new favourite of mine too.

Mixed a pack of made up jelly, with coconut milk, vanilla extract, raspberries and extra gelatine. worked pretty well.

Just been in to visit work on the last day of term. The old head used to retreat to her office with a fake migraine on the last day of term. The new head has sprung for a huge buffet of platters from M&S to say thanks to everyone for all their hard work. Turned up on the right day to snaffle some food; am stuffed now! And there was sooooo much left over; guess everyone will be taking loads home!

We had a take food to work day as well. I was tasked with 'muffins and crispy cakes'

So instead of buying muffins I made carrot cake which everyone at work likes. First time making individual cakes though:

I need a proper muffin tin for cooking.

Carrot cake is the best cake in the world.

I really want some nice cake. But shop brought stuff is never good. "other than coscos Victoria sponge" that's actually very nice for some reason.
