The **Now Eating** Thread

Interested as to what it is about mash you don't like? It can't be the taste as it is the same as other potatoes.

I don't have any really good reasons to be honest. It's a bit due to the texture but I think it's mostly a leave-over from having experienced lots of really badly-made mashed potatoes as a kid. I have eaten the odd bit now and again and even enjoyed it once or twice :p but as mash isn't an awesome culinary delight (imo) it's something I don't feel I should lose too much sleep over not liking.

Blue cheese on the the other hand (which I also generally don't like) is something I've been trying to train myself into enjoying for a few years. It isn't going well though :/

 mash with gravy is one of those culinary delights. It's boiled (other than new) I don't think I've ever seen a good use for.

Cook potatoes until they breaking apart, far longer than most people. Drain and leave them to steam dry a fair while, use a potato ricer.

Another prime beef rib baguette coming up.

Agree with the sentiment that you don't need mash and roasties on the same plate. I like mash but prefer sweet potato mash or carrot/swede mash with a roast dinner.

My first Domino's order in a long time, since PJ have rubbish offers.

Large Half & Half - Pepperoni Passion & Ground Beef Deluxe.

Edit: Holy hell that was mind blowingly good. Mediocre crust, but the toppings had TONS of flavour, especially the beef.
