The **Now Eating** Thread

Breaded chicken, home made mango and chili salsa.
These new flatbreads from Tesco are pretty good.

Fancy sharing the recipe? :) I had a bash at these at the weekend and they were no were near as fluffy as yours!

I'll help you all I can but I'm not one for measuring things out, more a consistency kinda guy :)

For the stack in the picture I used 2 eggs, some milk, pinch of salt and a sprinkle of sugar (sweet tooth head on today). The flour is self raising, it's actually a gluten free version I picked up in the Free From section, local Asda (own brand).

Warm pan and I used the bacon fat from the frying too.

Cabbage and pork Okonomiyaki with okonimi sauce.

Need to experiment more, it was ok, but think they should be thinner, less stodgy and crispier.
If anyone has any proven recipes please post.

Don't know why I didn't think of that, read all his blogs.

Almost identical weights and everything the same, except I used half corn flour and half normal flour. I'll try without the corn flour, but I would have thought that would make it less crispy.

One thing - this isn't one of Kenji's recipes. Actually, I don't recognise the guy so I can't comment on whether or not his recipes are any good :o

Is it pancake day again?

If we said yes would you believe us? :p
