The **Now Eating** Thread

omg you guys....I'm going to have to insist that you post a recipe that utilises that keyboard somehow :p

I wont say anything else about it apart from you will not find it for sale since it was a limited run and that was years ago.. maybe if you contact coolermaster you might have some luck.

I will probably be selling this so watch the mm come April 1st.

Healthy Easter brunch :)

Spent most of today at a friends house for a little get together. We ordered take away for dinner.

Got myself a 10" munchy box, which though very tasty, was probably a mistake. I made a serious dent in it, but I could not finish it all. It consisted of chips & cheese, fritters, chicken, veg and mushroom pakora, chicken chaat, onion rings, donner meat, a pitta bread and sauce/salad. They did a smaller 7" version that I'd probably have been able to tackle.

Where on earth did you get that from? Not seen anything like that in London

They do all sorts of Munchie Boxes in Scotland:

Traditional - chips, donner meat, onion rings, chicken pakora, mixed pakora, chicken chatt (like above)
Tandoori - Chicken Chatt, donner meat, chicken tikka, lamb tikka, shish kebab (no chips or onion rings or crap to bulk you up i.e. pure meat)
Chippie - Hamburger, sausage, haggis fritter, 1/4 pizza, 1/4 pizza crunch, chips, onion rings (basically a chippie selection box)

Also most of the Chinese takeaways around here are doing Munchie boxes - ribs, wings, spicy chips, chicken balls, salt and pepper chicken, tub of sauce

oh and in case of curiousity - pizza from a chippie in the context of above is deep fried - a pizza cruch (assuming its like a scrunchie) is a pizza thats covered in batter before being deep fried.

Scotland - leading the way in healthy eating....
