The **Now Eating** Thread

That salad looks delicious.

Sadly I have no food in the house and also got back too late from cycling to make the shops. Take away tonight methinks.

edit: Damn you wizzfizz...I really fancied making a roast dinner today despite the heat.

Captain America was gooood! Dinner was pretty decent too.

Homemade coronation potato salad, combined with raisins, lightly crushed salted cashews, and peanuts, sitting on a bed of rocket, baby red batavia,
and spinach leaf salad, topped with fresh vine tomatoes, cucumbers, and homemade mustard dressing.

You could just swap out the potato for chicken instead but I'm a veggie :o

Got a recipe for the potato salad?

Rough recipe,

Boiled new potatoes chopped into halves and quarters, enoguh for around two baguettes, mayonnaise (depends on how much potatoes being used but add as much until similar consistency as regular potatoes salad, usually around 4 to 6 tablespoons, 2 tea spoons of mango chutney, two tea spoons mild curry powder, a good squeeze from half a lime, a handful of lightly crushed or chopped peanuts and kashews, handful of raisins, a splash of rapeseed or sunflower oil, season with salt and pepper to taste.

You can also add chopped spring onion or celery, and mustard seeds.

I know these aren't exactly precise measurements but I normally just add as I go depending on taste and consistency.

New york stack, so so good!

2 burgers, cheese, pickles, bacon, bbq sauce and cheese again on top and a seeded bagel, much better than the Tennessee stack.

I probably could have pureed it more but I wanted more texture. To me it looks just the same as mashed swede/carrot (in real life anyway). Still some might think anything pureed and orange looks like.........

Always wanted to try the rib sandwich from Costco so before I get back to healthy(er) eating again I thought I'd pick one up.

It comes with TWO of those sandwiches... and not the coleslaw and potato salad. I added those.

I may have overestimated how much I can eat...
