The only dsr issue I know of is that of the sli+gsync+dsr combo.

Bandwidth should be a non issue, the game is being rendered at a different resolution rather then displayed.

On some games it can cause tearing even with V-Sync on.
Max Payne 3 and borderlands 2 are examples of this

If anyone playing BF4 on a GTX770 SLi are you getting bad stutter on latest drivers?
I had the odd stutter in the past but never really affected my game but now spikes are getting so frequent its a bit of a mess.

This has happened since installing the last two Nvidia drivers, last night I removed Nvidia drivers using DDU and also reinstalled DirectX drivers within the BF4 folder but this has not changed a thing.

Can you suggest a good display driver for my cards and BF4 please.

Thanks.

Can someone try the render test in GPU-z with 344.65? goes all checkerboard for me, it's fine with earlier drivers. i'm on a 980 if that makes a difference.

yes in some games DSR makes it a little blurry in detail. some games look amazing though.

Just had a play with eve online side by side with 2560x using ~4K DSR on one screen (Asus ROG Swift) and true 4K (AOC U2868PQU) on the other screen and it does a surprisingly convincing job - there is a little distortion/softening to text but a lot less than I thought there would be and its not a bad imitation of the details of 4K as it would look on a ~28" panel at all (probably a bit more apparent difference if I was comparing against say a 40-50" 4K screen).

Results are a bit mixed game to game but overall I'm a lot more impressed with the feature than I thought I would be.

Of the peeps who claim DSR is a little blurry at times, are you adjusting that 2nd slider from its default position?

Default position seems best to me (atleast with the settings I use) turn it down much and while the overall image is a little sharper text looks "patchy" and some jaggies creep in, turn it up much above default and text becomes noticeably blurry.

ok great thx guys, appreciated.

i had a mild panic attack when i saw it ytd. i posted on the geforce forums 344.65 feedback thread and also in the techpowerup gpu-z forum.
