**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

Please forgive the question as I've been AMD/ATI for the past few years before my 780Ti.

Is it fine to let the Geforce Experience app install the drivers? It won't screw anything up will it? I'm just used to doing it through Control Panel, then driver cleaning and putting the new ones on.

A few times ive used experience to update and had errors, other times its been ok. Now i just download the driver, when it comes to installing, select custom, clean install to remove all traces of the previous driver. Always been fine doing this.

Just had to roll back the drivers , GeForce experiance was having a real paddy no matter which ever way I installed it , wouldn't connect to Nvidia to activate shadow play and refused to stream to my shield . Scores improved by about 200 points on avg on firestrike extreme @ stock but had to go back to driver befor 344.60

Anybody else have same issue ? 2 x gtx 970

Pass, Ill report in what I find when I rebench everything in the morning, I do have to admit I've had some real random black screen reboots ( not bsod's ) using 344.44 on a 980 every other day or so running 24/7 that I didnt have using 344.16 & thats the only software ive changed except for a few win 7 updates

God I love DSR!!!

GTA:SA Recently got patched to (finally!!) give XInput support, so native 360 controller support....only they for some reason removed 16:9 resolutions.

A little patch here and there and enabling DSR I got it up and running at 4K (5K was select able but would just revert back to 4K).

Anyhow, end result, completely vanilla game, just patched to give 16:9 resolutions and remove the 30fps frame cap.

Not bad at all for a 10 year old game ;)

God I love DSR!!!

4K DSR even down to 2560x (~1.5x or 1.78x) w/ 2x MSAA looks stupidly good in some games, I was a bit sceptical but in some games the clarity and detail combined with the clarity of gsync is another level in image quality.

Couldn't pick a better choice of words my self :)

Just hope nvidia get this sli/gsync/dsr/swift issue sorted out sooner rather then later so I can upscale some higher end titles.

yes in some games DSR makes it a little blurry in detail. some games look amazing though.
