Yup, I'm in Devon. Internet speeds from the dark ages. It's not all bad though. £20 a month for phone / broadband and line rental. Hopefully by 2020 we'll catch up with the rest of the worlds broadband speeds ...

Just over 6 hours to go !!! :p

Took a fair while here, and i'm on 200meg! The rockstar download was fluctuating like no ones business...


Anyway, installed new driver and psyx installation couldn't find a file, everything seems ok though :/ Might try and reinstall them just to be safe.
 
So jelly,im stuck on stone age internet max speed of 820kb/s down,wont have it down until tomoz afternoon :(

I was gonna get retail,but i thought i'd double check that my dvd drive was still working,dug it out last nite,hooked it up,seemed busted.So not buying another drive to only ever instal one game.

Total pain man lol
 
256mb day one update, just a heads up ;)

Edit: Followed by 15mins of unpacking the encrypted files, seriously couldn't they have allowed this to be initiated at 23:50?

Edit 2: Unpacks to larger then the initial download, I ran out of SSD space, bye bye BF4 :p

Impulse purchased just to see how long it would take on my (80/20) FTTC connection - 1 hour 53 minutes at full whack. (9.25MB/s the whole way).

Same, 2 hours on infinity 74mb.

Drivers have been fine for me, G-Sync light is on at desktop but I'm not going to worry about it. I think it looks far more manly than the white one anyway.

I just did a Heaven run with Gsync disabled for the application, and did a run with Gsync on by default.

Red light stayed on with both runs, but results were different and as expected Gsync enabled had capped the fps but when disabled did not.

So, on first test it appears it's just a bug with the led?
 
I'm back on 347.88's. Few issues which were more annoying than anything else...

Gsync stuck permanantly on unless deactivated via control panel.

Borderless windowed refresh rate issues (on tv via hdmi).

... to name but a couple.
