**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

That sounds odd, you tried another brand of HDMI cable?

I have 2 screens to one 980TI and never come across that issue but then I'm using displayport on both. Use it for both video playback and playing older games all in fullscreen.

My settings and what most will be using (IPS/VA, etc will be 10/12-bit colour) :

My "output dynamic range" was set to limited.. Hopefully after a restart the settings stick now. Cheers.

Have you tried re-installing the drivers, after using DDU?

well I am running 347.52 on my Win 10 and everything is fine. No issues what so ever and GTA has great performance. (Fire strike is better overall as well)

How are the new 353.62 drivers performing?

i tried them and they just dont work. crashed almost as soon as i loaded wow up.

If I were you D1craig I'd listen to people with more knowledge than yourself when they give you advice, use DDU and try them again. You don't even seem to know how to forum with all these double posts, please learn to edit.

New Drivers are fine for most people.

i have listened... i was asking if clean install is as good as DDU. nothing i said would suggest i am not happy with what he said or that i am saying he is chatting BS...

i have the 353.49 drivers working fine. just not the latest ones offered on geforce experience.

No, a clean install isn't as good as using DDU.

If your having a few issues with drivers, it may be worth running DDU as others have suggested.

i wasnt saying i am not going to use DDU. it didnt even come across that way, i was just asking another question. for some reason people have jumped on it as me not accepting advice...

i will try the DDU thing thanx. but only to fix the control panel not working, i do not believe the issue i have with the drivers is something that would fix though. i may be surprised. i believe my driver issue is the same thing a lot of nvidia users are suffering with, i have found a stable driver that runs fine non stop.

unless i have missed the big announcement that the nvidia drivers crashing has been fixed.

Just had my first "driver not responding and has recovered", yaay :D Not sure if it was the overclock to 1500 or loading up mortal kombat x that did it. Was stable at 1500 in war thunder.
