**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

These latest drivers are great on Windows 10.

Looks like my return to a decent PC might be sooner than expected. A few days with just this mini PC and yeah, I think I'll be back with something better very soon lol. I think this will go back in the lounge and I'll build something small but mighty..

For Me (can't stress that enough)

The latest 353.62 drivers on Win 10 are flawless on GTA

I am running Shadow play n all sorts of other wistles n bells and there is no performance hit. The only area's of concern are R* related as they have followed me from win 7 and 347.52

Still cautious though

Just had my first nvidia display driver stopped responding error whilst playing gta5 on windows 10 with latest drivers. Seems it doesn't like being alt tabbed out of after a few times.

I can't exit any 3D application without my displays going into no signal received mode with the 353.62 and Windows 10, I've got a feeling nvidia don't like me overclocking my GTX970 so much anymore... :o

Apparently they don't, newer drivers make it a bit more difficult for overclocking. I think it was 8Pack who might of said something along the lines of this last week.

So any of guys think that the drivers for Windows 10 are slower compared to 8.1/7?

Seems about the same so far me but not benchmarked or anything. Only difference so far is I get more hard locks and force restarts in Windows 10 than I did in Windows 7 although it's slowly getting better with the last driver release.

I have not had a any lock-ups, but coming from 8.1 to 10, nothing seems to of not faster, only less stable/crappier.

When I was on the AMD counterpart, everything was so much smoother than on 8.1.

I dunno, I hope Nvidia get the performance boost overall too!

Had one or two crashes in W10 with the latest drivers but I'll wait till we're 2 or 3 drivers in to make judgement.

Last crashes I had (on Windows 7) were resolved by either disabling hardware acceleration in chrome or changing polling rate in MSI Afterburner at the beginning of July. Not had any issues since I did that and Windows 10 has been fine for me too. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones :p

Yep I think either W10/newest drivers has destroyed any overclocking potential on my 970 :(
Used to run +500Mhz on the core and +120Mhz on the memory but now GTA crashes within 2 minutes with some sort of initialization error.

Edit: Ok Arma 3 crashes instantly on startup with OC, and then crashes at the Main menu with +250/+60.

What value did you change for MSI? This is to enable the OSD without causing issues right?

I also had issues, went back to 353.49 and all good again
