**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

These drivers are sweet for VR. ED was always good but occasional stutter when entering a new system, which would sort itself out after a couple of seconds but none of that with the new ones and been on ED all day.

ED is going to be my first purchase along with the final release of the Oculus when it's out :)

I'm glad NVIDIA finally got around to fixing this bug for you guys.

I'm surprised it took NVIDIA so many months to fix this, though great that real life power consumption/TDP now matches the idle values from so many reviews.

You had to post but iirc, you was the only one who had a problem with it and you are on AMD :D

Thanks for the concern though and you can relax now.

No problem, it's always good to stick together when there are bugs in drivers that go on for months. Community effort goes a long way in encouraging these companies to get around to fixing their buggy drivers etc.

So everyone is a winner here :)

I have noticed, since having to nuke my Windows 10 install two things really, and wondered if anyone else has noticed this:

Since upgrading, my FPS has been much lower in games like GTA V and Black OPs 3, for no reason, all at the same settings. I am even getting terrible lag on Fallout 4.

Also, as I needed to download the newest drivers, I have also noted that my GTX 980, will not clock as high.

Is there a specific driver you guys recommend for Windows 10, which has decent Overclocking ability? Just seems as if Nvidia are purposely stumping the Overclockability of their cards.

Right, put this off for a while and not sure if it's my Drivers..

Firefox will over time, or randomly display images and webpages with blocks and rectangles. When I scroll it can flicker and distort. Never had it with chrome.

Can be solved by restarting but not sure what else it could be.

Tried enabling or disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox? and do you have a G-Sync monitor with G-Sync enabled for both windowed and fullscreen mode?

Have you clocked the memory?

I've found that with the last 2 drivers - seems very dubious in the nature of it which goes beyond a short post.

It doesn't really make any sense, when Windows 10 first came out I was hitting +150 on care and +450 on memory, but I cannot hit anywhere near than now, using exactly the same settings. No hardware changes have been done either.

If only I could remember the drivers I was previously running :p

Quick question if no one minds.

Updated to the latest driver last week on Windows 10 Pro 64bit with the goal of fixing the high GPU Clock issue on my 980's (x2). The issue was fixed and both cards were down to 135MHz and nice and cool again!

I have since completely reinstalled Windows 10 back to default to freshen my system up and installed the latest drivers again, but now I'm back to one card always at minimum 911Mhz and the other at 135MHz. I believe that all of my setting are the same as they were before.

I have a G-Sync 144Hz Monitor, a second monitor on the left at 144Hz and one on the right at 60Hz, my power management is on adaptive and G-Sync is only enabled for fullscreen mode.

Anything I can try to get it back again? Anyone else had this again since? I have tried reinstalling the driver from scratch and changing the refresh rates of each monitor.

Thanks :)

easy fix would be just put the 144hz monitor at 60hz when using the desktop.

the lastest driver fixes this issue (released last week)

Anyone here run sli with an i5? I considering impulse buying another 970 off the MM as economically it makes more sense to me than getting a Ti.

Not quite sure how bottlenecked i would be tho.I game at 1080/144hz

I am on the latest drivers, that driver actually fixed it for me, but has since broken since I reinstalled windows and installed it again.

I have tried all of the different refresh rates available, but I am still stuck with one card at 911MHz somehow.

A 4670k as per your signature?

It will not be a bottleneck at all.
