**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

I thought the broken GPU boost after overclocking was annoying but the constant blackscreens necessitating safe mode, DDU and trying the next new driver that allegedly fixes the problem is really winding me up. For all the grief AMD used to get I never had problems like this.
Glad I read this, thought I was going crazy last night. Decent boost with undercoat, no boost with overclock now...

I've gone back to ~560.xx with my 4080M, seems to be working a bit better, so think I'll stick with these unless something happens/they resolve all these issues.

For all the stick AMD get about drivers, Nvidia seem to have really rushed or broken something somewhere with these recent drivers.

I had this with a BSOD on the late January drivers when playing FFXVI which is why I updated to the latest . Might just go back to the pre 50 series drivers if it happens again.

Made me run ram tests to make sure they weren't going funky.

Same here though is only happens with Hogwarts Legacy with the nVidia App overlay enabled, HDR and 4K resolution or higher, any other combination of settings avoids it.

EDIT: A bit alarming at first because I thought it might be a symptom my 14700K might be degrading :s

Yeh, bit of a crap shoot at the moment.

If it's true that Nvidia moved half of the driver staff to work on AI, then it's certainly showing the (negative) effect now.
