You’ve made me feel better now, I was testing out my newly acquired 3080ti on Saturday by playing Delta Force Land Warrior which I think is of a very similar vintage!

To think when I joined the forum in 2007 I looked at PC stuff with excitement, Wonder and joy... now I just look at it and think "oh joy when's that going to break..."

I'm still trying to cognitively rationalise joining this forum *22* years ago. My join date could have a family at this point lol

Nope, just installed them on my laptop but not had time to test them yet.
No but the was a windows update that affected Nvidia recently.
New Windows update ruins Nvidia GeForce GPU performance - OC3D
It looks like Microsoft has released another Windows update that has negatively impacted the GPU performance of Nvidia GeForce GPUs.

Studio drivers performed worse than the Vulkans in games like Battlefield 6... But at a choice it's either Studio or Vulkan
Main game ready ones are pretty naff
Aren't the Studio and GRD the same driver though with the Studios just being tested more ?
Hmmm, Ive had no real issues since getting my 5090, twice had black screens whilst installing drivers but disconnecting secondandry monitor always solved that.
Just tonight my system wouldnt wake from lock screen/monitors off. Couldnt get an image on either of my 2 monitors, even when unplugging/replugging. Rebooted and still had black screens on 3 seperate reboot occasions. Fourth time it eventually booted and gave me a windows login screen after a massive delay, even though it didnt display the BIOS POST screen/logo...
Absolutely bizzare! The fact the BIOS POST/Logo screen wouldnt show is somewhat worrying, that should be indpendant of OS drivers really?

I loved the first delta force game
Am sure i remember the graphics having a kind of green or grey tinge to them
Edit: I just googled it and it came out in 1998, Now i feel old
