**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

That may be so, but you'll be doing well to find any driver release over a decade without outstanding issues in the notes. That's par for the course.
So all the people in this thread and on the rest of the internet are fussing over nothing, because they're alright for you?

That's what you took from this ?

It's funny alright.....now because I've just been putting a new system through is paces, I've not being full on in any one title for extended time. 20-30mins here and there, hour at a time maybe on some other things.
Have not had one issue at all with the previous or current release - now I don't doubt things like the sleep/temp bug are real (days of having the PC sleeping are long gone from my usual use) - but in general, the drivers have been as solid as drivers usually are. Probably just lucky, but then again, there's a big variety of titles being tried out, so it makes some of the coverage, more so the shouty YouTube variety, seem a bit disconnected
Is there a game that has a consistent, reported issue that could be tried out ?

Do you have a game suggestion that might be worth trying out ?

Yes, that and the post I actually quoted.

Do you have a game suggestion that might be worth trying out ?

Such a small increase is just run variance really. All the more reason to bin synthetic benchmarking as a whole.

Very true. I get an extra 100 points if I do it when I first turn my PC on in the morning and everything is cooler.

Came here as noticed a recent problem with my 4070 Super, have to acknowledge I'm a complete luddite but will post anyway.

Play Fortnite with my kids, noticed very recently if the game goes into sleep mode and I step away from the computer for a while that when I resume (in-game, not the PC going into sleep mode just the game), that I go from GPU usage at 30-50% with FPS reaching the 180 limit I set, so FPS now hitting as low as 20-30s, sometimes gets up to 80s but the GPU is saying 96-98%. If I close the game and reopen it, problem seems resolved. Very odd. Can only think it is the recent driver update as had no such issues before.

Is it worth rolling back the driver to the previous version? Minor inconvenience but still a pain to have to close things down and restart...

I would rollback personally.

I am still sat on 572.83 and won't be budging until someone confirms a working driver is around.

Same driver I am using with a 4070Ti, like you I will not budge but at the end of the day I do not update my GPU drivers unless I have too.

Well blow me down, the hotfix 576.15 driver solves my horrendous screen-flickering-monitors-dying problem!

But my displays don't go to sleep now, except when one does and never wakes until I power it off and on again. Nearly there! Maybe 6 months after launch there will be a perfect driver.
