• Competitor rules

    Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

Is it still broken if you have a frame rate cap, so GSync and Reflex make it useless?

Yep. Only works as intended if you disable Vsync at driver level too - so you get terrible tearing! And if you try and cap fps to your monitor refresh rate it to mitigate (eg with RTSS) it causes enormous latency lag.

Dynamic frame gen in its current form is completely useless and pointless. Needs some big extra work. I'll just stick to x2 which for many games works extremely well for me, and is all I need (120Hz screen and 5090).

Surprised nobody mentioned it lol

Waiting for hotfix :km::km::km:

Works first time after a fresh boot, but intermittent after that for me, mainly doesn't work.
That's annoying. Could there be other software interfering with it? Having said that I can have HWInfo, GPUz monitoring and even the Zotac OC software running without it being affected (not that I usually run them all at the time, of course! And I only use Zotac Firestorm to change the lighting on the GPU once in a while).

I've been running the 577 driver for a while without issue, deffo the newer drivers.

I only updated to try out the new DLSS enabler, will rollback later.
