**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

It's been interesting reading through this thread whilst switching from and AMD card to a 5070ti in the past week. Haven't experienced any of the issues described (though obviously don't have patch-on-patch performance to compare)

I always use NVCleanstall to strip the driver down to its core and only install it and the basic control panel, I hardly ever have issues.

I have no real problems on latest drivers Crimson dessert looks and plays excellent using DLSS balanced and digital foundry settings at 4K I get around 100fps. Sometimes though I've noticed in the Nvidia overlay latency just shows zero in some games?

not sure if it’s because I don’t usually play games on release but I don’t think I’ve ever had an issue with an nvidia driver. Surprised so many do.

Well there's obviously issues with certain drivers other wise they wouldn't fix them.

They even recalled a driver only just last month due to peoples GPU fans not spinning up

Skill issues.
I wouldn’t notice the bottom part with the games I play lol. think my fans only kick in if it gets to 45-50

Not really any reason to keep updating Nvidia drivers anyway, other than introducing actual bugs in games or desktop, has a newer driver ever in the last 2 years improved performance in any latest title over an older stable driver?

I rest my case.
