**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

This is just for shader precomp remember, the big issue with UE based games is traversal stutter, something which no amount of shader comp will fix as they are two different things.

How does Fortnite not suffer with traversal stutter? well at least for me it doesn't.

Fortnite is developed by Epic themselves, it will have been tightly optimised for this sort of stuff, something other devs are "meh" about.

In fact, even the NVapp stats overlay properly works now with the latency figures showing. In the past they were flaky.

A collective win/win as they say.

NVIDIA GeForce Hotfix Driver v617.70

This update resolves the following:
- QHD monitor running at 360 Hz may have occasional black flash during gameplay [4846825]
- When gaming on a 360Hz G-SYNC Pulsar monitor, FPS may drop to 320FPS [6408986]

I mean it's right there in settings to toggle off, no need for an article about it I guess :p

There is when Nvidia didn't mention it after the update and not giving an option after the installation to enable or disable it and should have been disabled by default not enabled.

Only through the Xbox app though so outside of Gears of war and a few other titles it's a bit meh.
No, apparently also works for Steam games etc, it’s platform agnostic and just needs support built in to the games. With this driver release it will be supported in MW4, so I will see how well it works tonight when I get home.
