***The OcUK Bikers meet 2006. 12th of August***

Now I know I am fairly local to a few people who are attending, I just wondered if anyone wanted to meet up at a motoray services on the way down (or anwhere else which makes sense) and then ride down as a little group. Just makes the journey down a bit more interesting.

I have added you mate :)

Not that long to go, the bike just got through its MOT yesterday, only recommendation was a new chain and sprockets, as luck would have it they are in my room waiting for my next day off to sort them out :)

I think lukechad is so looking forward to the meet he's going to do it twice ;)

Damn right, I am fitting my new chain and sprockets today, going to give them a run later to get the massive stretch out of the way that they get when new! The last thing I want to have to do is adjust the chain on SATURDAY

Mike- Glad you are still able to make it!

I think the plan for the day is really meet up, have a chat then go for some pub grub after the long rides we have all had. Have a laugh over lunch then we can go for a ride as a group. I dont think a route has been worked out for this but if someone knows the area and wishes to work something out for us that would be great. There will be a photo shoot session with MrSix the meet photographer, this can be a few posing photos or if we find a nice corner we can go for some "action" shots too :)

If you know of some more biker suited roads then yes any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, if you wish to lead the way for this part and set a steady pace. If we get a route sorted we can get MrSix ready on a corner with his camera for some good group ride shots :)

Lukechad - Can you post up a roll call of who is actually attending?

Its in the first post of this thread mate, thats assuming Pug can still make it, I havent heard from any of the others to say they cant make it so I am assuming they are still all coming along.

I am all set, just need to put the cover back on the front sprocket and give it a quick sponge over in the morning. Meeting fireblade900 and yourself at 10am at the saltbox, I will obviously wait 10-15 mins afterwards incase you are late, i am aiming to get there about 9:50.

If its chucking it down tomorrow how many peeps gonna turn up?

Persil

More than likely I would cancel if its raining. Ive not checked the forecast yet but if its only a slight chance of a shower then I will still be there.

EDIT: doesnt look bad really... http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=2851

Only just checked the first page & noticed it's moved :o , lucky I looked

Not half, well its the day today!!

Just got to clean the bike up a bit get the dust off it and I am good to go.

I feel that our little convoy will be there first because we are taking a pretty boring and direct route to the meet point, if we are making too much time I think we would be better off to go to a service station for 20 mins to kill the time rather than sitting at the pub waiting for others to arrive.
