Just doing Saturday makes things much less complicated, I think if we do something Sat afternoon, then people can get there in the morning if they have a distance to travel.
Here's what I would propose, all timings are of course flexible at this stage.
Anyone who is travelling a long way or particularly wants to, can arrive on Friday, we can go to a nice Chinese and have a few drinks (take it easy as it were). Doubt there will be anyone but the offer is there, I was thinking of Piggy really and I expect she will stay will Desmo in Essex and then come down on the Saturday?
1pm (ish) Meet for lunch and pre-bowling drinks at a pub with decent food, I have one or two in mind. One is a Wetherspoons, cheap food, loads of room and cheap drinks too the other is a nice place too and does food we can decide nearer the time.
3pm (ish) A few frames at the bowling alley, I will bow to the superior knowledge of Desmo and Feek on how many frames we need to play, in the past I have always felt that 2 was not enough, but I was fitter then

.
This is a question to put to the thread.
I should be able to book bowling, rates are here
http://www.amfbowling.co.uk/centres/maidstone.htm#rates
Don't know what they can do about block booking discount but I will ask when we have an idea of numbers
6pm (ish) Retire to the public house for drinks and socialising
Evening - Might need to take a poll on the type of food people would like.
we have Pizza Hut, Pizza Express (yum yum), Nandos Chicken, various Chinese, various Indian, various Pub Grub, Kebab/ KFC/ McD (the last 3 of which can be eaten Chav style on a street corner. Please note I am going for a proper meal). I suggest a pub till closing and then limp home, but there are various clubs etc. which might be available, depending on my personal alcohol level and that of others.
All times are flexible
The Travel Inn in Sandling is within walking distance (ish) certainly if you have had a few beers (beer scooter), taxis are available although can be elusive on a Saturday night.
I found a hotel closer to town too, which is the White Rabbit

It only has a few rooms but I have heard they are very nice and they give you a key card so you can come in drunk as opposed to pukeing on a receptionist whilst asking for a key
More expensive hotels are also available to those with larger pockets
