My target is always to get over 120 - then I'm happy :cool: Has anyone (not necessarily on these forums) ever got a 300?

I'm pretty poor and am generally happy as long as I don't embarrass myself (i.e. no scores under 100!). I used to play in some dodgy local league with work colleagues against a wide range of people including semi-pros - I've seen one bloke break 270 before! Looked on for 300 at one point so everyone stopped and watched him for a bit.

I'm waiting to see who shows up with their own ball (with obligatory carrying bag), shoes and one of those poncy mitten thingys.

3 games seems the most sensible option - should take about 2hrs to play them I guess.

heh. Sometimes I feel that way when things are talked about months and months in advance... not just forum meets but going to gigs, holidays etc, you get it all planned out, start looking forward to it and then realise you have 6 months to wait :)

To be honest 2 months isn't tooooooo long to wait. 12th March got a good reception from most people and it suits me fine. Going to London this w/e for a friends' 21st, housewarming party in Southampton early next month, then my bday, so given I work every other saturday it's around the perfect time :)

wow trimmage :D was just about to say this thread needed burning and a new official one created with all the details set in stone as agreed.

that way the possibles should check in and confirm.
 
OK - I think I might be able to make this. I can throw a bowl or two in the wrong direction with the best of them as well. Will have to work out how I get there, where I stay, etc. I'd estimate about 2-3 hours by train, mostly because of having to change in London, but that's certainly manageable. Will come back when I have some time to sort things out. :)
