Don't build your expectations of the place up :p

Oi you! Liverpool is a lovely city to back this up Liverpool has been awarded European Capital of Culture 2008 and since July last year it is now a World Heritage City. :p

Granted some areas aren't as nice as others and scallies ruin the beauty of the city but where don't they!

I wasn't meaning to have a go at anyone here, just that a lot of liverpudlians do say things like that :)

True some Liverpudlians who previously would put down the city suddenly changed their minds!

I love Liverpool. I am very proud to be a scouser. Liverpool is a great city. I wouldn't say it is the best in the UK as I haven't been to every city in the UK and cannot make a fair judgement :)

As for non-OCUK member joining the party they will not be given priority places. There are 12 tables in the area of the OneFour we will be occupying (other upstairs but not going to split the group up). This means there are spaces for 48 people (4 per table). So far we have 24 definite attendees and 17 interested these people will get preference, sorry if you think this is unfair. By all means bring them the Krazyhouse but pool may not be possible, sorry x

as serious as it gets. :(

I looked at you and cliffy with such envy on sat night.. you both have something very special.

sorry off topic

But i'll be there in Feb :)

Who gives a hoot if its off topic! Hope you're ok, well as well as can be expected in your circumstances xx

At least in Feb you can have a good perv at the half naked girlies ;) hope that makes you laugh xx

Krazyhouse has been chosen because it has three floors of music it plays all kinds and music can be requested for the night we attend on the website.

We are going for meal then the Krazyhouse
We are going the onefour in the day to play pool

The Krazyhouse is fun and not hard rock they tend to mingle the rock in with other tunes. Gilly trust me you'll have a laugh ;)

Another reason for the Krazyhouse is the dress code isn't as stict and we can have fun without worrying about appearence. Davey likes to wear trainers when we go out and not many places in Liverpool allow you in wearing them.

Plus I have already been in touch with the manager of the Krazyhouse and he's been great sorting us discount and other stuff. I like the Krazyhouse its a good night. I believe the Krazyhouse will suit the different tastes of the group better than Garlands and I've been to both.

I have no plans to change the venues chosen.

You'll get in at a discounted rate (not sure how much yet), drinks are 241 and if you don't enjoy it then head off.

I'm up :p I understand peoples concerns. Suggestions are welcome :)

However these two will not be chosen:
Barracuda: This is far to packed and would cause problems for those who suffer panic attacks
Garlands: Unfortunately I used to work around the corner from this place. I used to go in and there has always been a kick off in there. Plus the range of music and dress code isn't suitable sorry.

I am going to contact a few places today (if I can) and see if they accept large groups, dress codes and if I can persuade them to give us some discount ;)

LynnieLeigh, how about the Reflex or 70's/80's Bars?
Phil.

Sorry not ignoring you. Reflex is good but tend to repeat the same stuff over and over! I will keep it in mind though :)

Think me and Davey are going to have to go to a few places try them out.
For the good of the OCUK meet of course ;)

So long as hiring out an area doesn't bankrupt us, then that sounds ideal :)

The Krazyhouse admission would have been about £2 we have 26 definates at the moment which whould have been £52 I doubt it'll be more than that :) waiting to get in touch with manager

I'm not sure how "private" it actually is, we'll go out and check it one day :)

Private bit is private as it is for a party. The bonus is it keeps others out until we arrive and then nobody tries to go up there once party arrives. I've been in there when a party has been on :)
