Earlier in the thread MB said not before 5 pm cos he's going to be spending some quiet time with his folks before the insane partying begins. I haven't seen anything else about that so I assume it's still the case.

I will understand if people show up earlier and you can come in and pitch your tents but don't expect me to entertain you :p

Its almost time to start the long and tenious journey to Wales :(

Luckily I purchased every Hitchhikers guide (original radio plays) on CD including the new ones, so I'll be happy on the way down :)

Haven't got the CD's of the Quandry and quintessential phases yet - got the broadcast versions though.

Anyone know of any roadworks going on along the route at the moment?

Seems pretty clear tbh.. :D

If anyone wants an autoroute map done I can do one and upload it to my domain ready for printing.

Could even do the advanced ones with the turn by turn images in PDF format....

What's a bachelor to do?

According to Desmo's itinerary, we're scheduled to arrive at about 17:00 but I would be very surprised if things run completely on schedule - for example, I have to go to a supermarket en route and I'm hopeless in supermarkets (perhaps the ladies will assist ;) ).

I tend to find when I walk into a supermarket I end up buying chocolate and biscuits instead of actual food :o And then I stare at the alcohol aisle for ages wondering what to buy because I'm never good at that :o

Although the chocolate bit doesn't surprise me at all. :p

I can manage ok with the alcohol bit (I seem to be able to navigate to the bevvy section automagically), it's the other stuff I'm not good at :o
