gah shame i missed it :o
couldn't get the time off work though :(
sucks too as i only live about 15 miles away or so.
had other plans though :(

hope you guys enjoyed oakwood... there's not much there, but still a lot of fun to be had!
what beach are all those pics taken on?
i'll definately be there next year if you guys come down this way again :D
 
Thanks Gilly, Lopez, it's damn nice to be told things like that rather than guessing and hoping that that's the case.

Jen - glad you enjoyed watching me doing silly stuff, more fun doing than watching though. You going to give it a go next year? And you do so giggle like a girl!! :p And it's a nice sound so don't you dare stop it. ;)

Sadgeek - cheers matey. :) I wish I could give you a proper answer, but it was a process rather than an event, and I can't really remember any great detail from around then. I do know that it was the tadpoles that made me realise something was wrong. My daughter, 4 at the time, spilt her drink on the carpet and I totally overreacted to this trivial incident, which was what decided me into going to the doctor and being diagnosed. And if I hadn't had my responsibility towards them I don't know if I'd have cared enough to carry on. I don't mean I was actively feeling suicidal, just that I didn't care enough to put the effort into carrying on, if you see what I mean.

I guess that knowing what the downside is like makes you appreciate the upside more. Weren't the stars beautiful? And I'm glad that my somewhat offbeat sense of humour was appreciated too.

I really enjoyed Oakwood :D
Then again I've never been to a theme park, on a rollercoaster or been bowling before this weekend so perhaps I'm not the best judge of tourist attractions :p

Same here! I got really sleepy and went quiet (when does that happen?!) later on on the sunday night but picked up around 2 or 3ish!
That was the most people ever around the campfire! The first night was only me gilly and creature you gang of jessies :p

Might have been a mistake not going to bed till after four on the sunday though with everyone driving the next day. I cant believe I lasted on such little sleep over the weekend! :D

Bah! Willpower 4tu. Just 3 bottles of beer, spread out over 5 hours that evening so I wasn't even tipsy, and I was in me tent sound asleep at 1:30pm. Didn't even hear the rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody" :p :D
