Got me tent today, and tested it out on the back garden. Shouldn't be too much hassle *fingers crossed* though how they can call these '2 man' tents baffles me. Do they think people don't travel with any bags or something?
 
If anyone else needs a tent and doesn't do much camping, I can bring along my spare one to borrow. Its plenty big enough for two, with a second compartment to store things in, or sit in whilst it's persistently precipitating.

I'll be there Friday - Sunday, though I could leave the tent behind if needs be, and collect from someone later.
 
We got our tent today too :) got a "2 - 3 man" tent so we've got room for important things like beers :D

We spread it out in the living room so we could work out how to put it up but we don't have the room to actually put it up :o

Really looking forward to this now :D
 
i too have got my tent sorted £10.49 for a two person wasn't too bad i thought, should have got my car sorted by then, so if anyone needs a lift, no problem.

This is the reason we went for a 2-3 man tent. :D

^^ No problem. I'll put it up this weekend to make sure it's all ok. Should keep my son happy too, especially if I make my pregnant wife sleep in it with him :D

yeah somewhere near the beginning of this thread Gilly had asked if anyone had one to bring, and i was gunna bring mine along. Still happy to (room in car permitting - Sadgeek, if you're around, is the car big enough for me to bring it along?) :) cant beat a bit of drunken campfire singing!


also, missed a bit of this thread out, just to make sure of things : friday is mexican themed night with ponchos and sombreros required :p any plans for the saturday yet MB? I know Berserker was saying something about sorting some merryment for the evening too :)

Nothing personal, but there ain't a way for me to get me, a bag of bits and a guitar into that tent, and have room for a second person, unless we're really close and personal :eek: I like you, but not that much.

Dirt cheap.. mine was £20 from Argos. Its nothing fancy but it'll keep the elephants out.

Aye, if you can bring your guitar that'll be grand. More the merrier really, two guitars vs god knows how many drunken people singing. Could be interesting.
Might even bring my new harmonica along, even though I can hardly play a tune on it :D
