Not sure what our plans are but I can't see it being a major problem. We were going to pop in and see Piggy's rents as well but I'm sure we can sort something.

/edit. MB, my sister is going to Colchester Zoo today so I aksed her to grab pics of Tumba and hopefully our name board :D
 
Well after ickle car bump, they're picking it up friday morning... hopefully the hire car will work out to cover this - I suspect a corsa.. so any indication of the top speed of said tin can is?? I'll have to plan my travel time accordingly... including getting the momentum up for the welsh hills..
 
At the moment I'm vaguely thinking leaving mine at 9:00, that'll enable me to miss the rush hour traffic on the M25 (I'll still get caught by the j12-15 roadworks IIRC), which means I'll be at Beserkers at around 11:00-11:30 all being well. How does 12:00 at the service station Beserker mentioned on the M4 sound to those of us thinking about convoying? Too early? By my 'no-knowledge-of-the-roads' reckoning that'll get us down to St Petrox somewhere between 4 and 5?

edit: I'm not entirely certain my timing there is right.. I'll take another stab at multimap to confirm..

Hmm, by Multimap that timing would put us down at St Petrox at 3:30 in the avo, which would give us plenty of time for setting up, pick of the better spots perhaps :D

I think we're looking at 9.30am. Should be picking Stan up around 12.30-1.00. Then off to Piggy's rents for an hour or two. Grab Haly and then off to the BBQ, ETA 5-6pm.
 
If people are looking for a place to stop for a toilet break and to get some petrol/ strech legs on the way, may I sugest this place http://www.mcarthurglen.com/centres/where.cfm?centre=bridgend

The petrol is cheaper then a service station plus once you get off the M4 after Swansea the road slows down hugely, you might think there isn't far to go but believe me the last bit takes ages and is quite draining after all the motorway driving.

Plus you can look at the shops and get a decent cup of coffee :)
