and update manual as well

In short they will give us the updates and you download from OcUK. :)

I shall be using the NBA Game Time app, preferably in bed. Others will have to wait and see.

It will be good to see some reviews of some non-industry tablets if you can call them that.

It's so easy to go with something you know so it'll be nice to see how these compare.

when i first saw these advertised i thought they would be ridiculed, so its nice to see somebody take the plunge and support these tablets.

good stuff guys!

There's something holding me back from the buy button on this one.

I'm just not too sure I trust it being so cheap with a single years warranty.

Received my Ultima 10.1" this morning

No micro SD card included though, so perhaps one of the mods can help me on this!

Initial thoughts on opening were that the tablet is stunning to look at and feels superb in the hands especially the Alloy back-plate, it feels cold and smooth to the touch
The touchscreen is superbly responsive and really bright with only the lightest flick of a finger touch moving you between screens, very impressed with OCUK here and the 1280X800 IPS panel.
All the settings are very easy to get too and understand and I have been surfing the web on this tablet using the websites classic settings as opposed to Android settings and getting the full richness of websites just like my normal PC, the screen easily handles websites like this due to the 10.1" size making reading web pages a pleasure.

I am charging it right now so have turned it off for a full charge to condition the battery

One small tip for people is when you first connect to Wifi and input your routers password, the tablet wouldn't connect as you would normally think it would it just kept trying to connect but didn't actually do anything, what I done was pressed the home button then turned the tablet off and then rebooted and the Wifi was then working perfectly and has been since, I thought there was a fault with the unit but a reboot then configures and sets the wifi settings, thought I would post that here for peeps!

I will add more as I use the tablet ;)

Initial impressions though are its a superb unit

More details added 20:05pm

Full charge takes about 90mins and lasted around 3 hours installing games, playing games, installing music and video, watching video and surfing the internet, browsing Play store and general configuring, all settings are on full with IPS screen up to almost full brightness..
If you turn some of the settings down a tad then battery will last a lot longer, depends how you like your tablet experience, I like everything turned on and all the eye candy so battery life never lasts me long, but thats the price I pay..;)

Using the standard android web browser is surprisingly quick and web pages load fast, its a joy to surf the web on this Tab

Installed Tunein Radio Pro and works flawlessly, I have had trouble with this software on other tablets where it would not install, or wouldn't play without bugs, glad to say no such problems here with the Ultima as I am a big Tunein fan..:D

Youtube runs great although I am not a big user of this app.

Played The Lost city game and it looks and runs superb, very smooth and colours are radiant

TVCatchup works absolutely fine

Well worth the money and very glad I held out for the Ultima now!

I don't think you will be dissapointed when you receive yours ;)

Cheers - Mine has arrived in the office where I work but have today off so will not get it until tomorrow, I am real pleased with the feedback on this so far from a number of people, as it seems a quality unit and happy I didn't bottle it and go for the Sumvision one.

Diddy

Mine should be here tommorrow. Cheers for starting a thread, it gives me something to drool over.

Quite tempted by this, does chrome remember your bookmarks etc for this? How longs the battery last?

Is the cable quite long? (Charging and watching stuff in bed)

2 year warranty would be nice though

Your first impressions are looking very hopeful and thanks for the tip! Just hope mine gets delivered tomorrow so I can use it over the weekend.

Make a post in the CS section about your memory card. http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=72

I also ordered one of these today to connect to the TV.

I could have sworn I saw this at £150 this morning, it is now £180?? Any up and coming deals in the new year perhaps? At £180 I'm tempted to spend a little bit more and pick up something from a retail store (such as an Iconia tab) for extra peace of mind / returns.

That was pre-order pricing and the Christmas Day Tablet Offer.

Ahh I see, guess I missed the boat.

Well in my humble opinion, £180 is a little too much for this, distant seller, unbranded etc. £150 should be the standard in my opinion for what it's worth.

This Tablet is £200+ territory all day long!
OCUK = Distant seller?

Unless you have handled it you are in no position to give an opinion to be honest..

It is a very fast premium tablet, one of the fastest I have seen and I have handled a fair few, the IPS screen is amazing.

Any chance of some real pics of it please guys :)

I notice the Nexus 10 is faster than this, what hardware makes them different?
