Is that the standard 16yr Lagavulin?
Wow, normally takes me a few weeks at least to sink a bottle.
Jokes aside, you can very often find Springbank 10 for around that price at auction websites.

Yeah. I really like it but that's daylight robbery.
I never got on with the 16yr old, have enjoyed plenty of other Lagavulin's though.
Has been many years since I tried it mind.
I definitely won't be trying it again at its current price.

Their Distiller's Edition is one of, if not my favourite whiskies. It's the 16 with finishing in PX

Distillers Edition, they have an 8yr as well which was good from memory.
On the of best ones I have had was the 11yr Nick Offer an edition which I bought from the distillery. One of those I should have purchased 2 of.

I see the Distillers edition is around the same price of the 16year old.
FYI - Rosebank in Falkirk has now reopened and started production again in the last few weeks.
Also - Faer Isles Distillery on the Faroe Islands have started Whiskey Production earlier this year as well

I've got a bottle of Glendronach 15-year-old Revival waiting for me to open. I tried a dram of it in the Pot Still in Glasgow and it was lovely!

The 21 Parliament is that proper PX raisiny chocolatey whisky goodness. Not tried any of the others that I can recall but certainly will do when I get the opportunity.

the 21 is good but the 18YO Allardice is top banana for me. If you ever get a chance to vost the distillery, they do a hand pour bottle. Iv'e had a few of them and it really comes alive at Cask Strength.
Yeh the Pot Still is amazing. Hugh selection, i'd recommend the 18YO as previously stated as a stand out from them.

I got chatting to the barmaid and she said they have about 850 bottles with the aim to get close to 1000!
