Ah. I can see how that would be a little intimidating then. I've been looking at the video and it all seems fairly straight forward to the point that the only thing really holding me back is wanting to see some reviews on how reliable their batches are; it's worth noting as well that as long as you're careful during the break down of parts, if the 2TB card fails you always have your original drive.
 
What audio solutions are you guys using for your Mac Mini ?

I could use headphones, I have both decent wired or wireless headphones to hand but for the average YouTube video I don't really want to do that. What do you use?

I have limited desk space so my options will be limited.
 
I use a Creative Soundbar, that I have for my gaming PC, via USB as if I connect via BT, there’s lip sync issues in videos.
 
Bah, I can't spend £1400 on a monitor right now lol

Might make do with the crap one in my Mateview for now.

I guess I’ll rephrase, those using a Mac Mini or Mac Studio, without a Studio display, or XDR, what do you use for sound?

Anyone know whether using a pair of HomePod Minis would be a usable audio solution? Any lip sync or latency issues etc?

I’m considering a Mac Mini but won’t be using it with a monitor that has built-in audio.

I use Kanto Ora with the stands on my Mac mini, really happy with them.

My research has lead me to these too..small, discrete, sounds good.

I am going to wait until I set everything up though before buying speakers. After a week the Mac has still not been shipped, still processing.

Just notice the bay code expires on the 9th. Is that midnight on the 8th as it ticks over to the 9th or midnight on the 9th?
