Only biting my tongue so I don't order one pointlessly because I want to try one.

I will get a one‑on‑one demo instore. I want to see a movie and especially spatial video. I took a massive amount of spatial videos on my iPhone, glad I did that as one person in some of the videos passed away last week.

Price is certainly a factor though :D

for those still interested :
After launching in the United States earlier this year, Apple's Vision Pro is now available to buy in China, Japan, and Singapore. "The Apple Vision Pro will also roll out to Germany, France, Australia, the UK, and Canada on July 12th, with preorders for those regions available starting today at 5AM PT," 28-06-24

its to expensive for my liking but others may be interested

The Vision Pro is just too niche for me. I'd much rather spend the £££ on the new Mac Studio when it comes out. I don't really watch much entertainment or play many games so that side of things doesn't really interest me.

Had the in-store demo today. Thoughts are:

- The eye tracking is incredible and finger gestures work really well.
- Image resolution is much better than I expected, as is the refresh rate.
- The live event demos were excellent, can see how that would be a ‘game changer’ in terms of content consumption.
- I think I’d struggle to use it for more than an hour without pretty bad neck pain. It is as heavy as everyone has said it is. To watch a movie I guess reclining in a chair would do the job though.
- I really, really like it but I don’t think I £3500 like it.
