*** The official Asus ROG Swift PG348Q 34" ultra-wide thread ***

Can someone who has one of these monitors measure the height when its at its lowest setting with the stand attached?

I need to see if the monitor would fit on my desk- as I have a shelf above mine.

Thanks!

PCM2, Superstringy, thanks very much for your answers.

I do notice images that are not running at 1:1 but thats good that 1:1 works for 2560 x 1080 just with borders on the side, thats perfect for me! Think this one is a must buy. Thanks again.

The only niggle I really have is the teeny bit of BLB in all four corners which I must confess is noticeable if I look for it, but only at a distance and when there is no input, otherwise IPS glow overshadows it. Even in dark games (Elite, Alien) I can't see it unless I intentionally back away and look on purpose. I'm scared it'll grate on me over time, but I think I'm being OCD!

Ignore the BLB! - every monitor in existence has it, even my samsung TV has some BLB on a black screen in the dark. - my Dell has had BLB (or is it just IPS glow?)..

either way, if you can litterally only see it when you specifically back away, and turn on a black screen just to spot the BLB - then I think you're just being OCD :P as long as you can't see it in normal every day use, you're good!

Quick enough to warrant an answer :D

I own an LG 34UM95 which is the same panel in a different chassis, minus the overclock etc, and I've pre-ordered one of these. I'll be very surprised if what's true for the LG isn't for the Asus, so to answer your question...

Hope that helps.

EDIT: Quick enough that someone beat me to it, haha!

Ahhhh you were tempted also :D

97-s has literally just gone 20 mins ago. Should be a great upgrade for us. G-sync and the 100 hz combo was too tempting.

Now just got to play the waiting game until early next week when it arrives. Who would have thought I wanted a weekend to fly by for once :p

Totally right pal.. just had a sesh on Elite (as you can tell in the above pics.. I do play other games too!!) and couldn't see it.

I do really hope everyone else is as chuffed with their screen as me..... next step is VR!

Does anyone know if G-Sync, SLI and DSR work together. One thing I loved on my panel before was being able to use DSR with the GPU's, but seeing mixed information on being able to use three together. Most of the information and posts on the matter is seemingly a while back.

Do you find the screen curve a problem with anything?

I know it's really common now on monitors, but I just can't imagine it being anything but awkward for me, like the screen is distorted or something. For example, a square not actually being a square, that would drive me crazy.

Is there an advantage in online fps to having a super wide? Do you actually see more or is it the same as what normal ratio screens (16:9) see (but zoomed/cropped)? Online asking as I think when 16:10 was new, that was the case on games like BF2.

You see more and yes there is an advantage.

Hey all! - I had to cancel my order from Overclockers :/ shame, as it's not their fault, their supplier is just being really 'casual' with the delivery of new monitors.

They told me they were supposed to have 20 units last thursday (18/02/16) but as of right now they have no idea when they will arrive.

So I had to order from no competitor hinting please! instead, it arrives tomorrow!! CAN'T WAIT!

Mine arrived today. Not seen any issues but not properly had a chance to mess with it. Main build is currently in pieces while I wait for the PSU cabling to arrive tomorrow, cant wait to give it a proper test drive. Got some snaps either way.
