*** The Official Battlefield 2042 thread***

ive actually explained my english and grammer on here before, i have 16 A levels and a 170 iq. i spell things wrong on purpose and puncuate in wrong places on purpose. for my own entertainment. to give people with lesser inteligence something to moan about. the planet is too serious. have fun enjoy yourself.dont waste your time being angry or negative. have a great day.

:D:D:);):p:):)

Funniest thing I have read for a long time on here.

While EA do have ME Legendary edition and Apex Legends to fall back on Battlefield still represents their major Fall/Xmas 'tent pole' release of the year. If it's delayed it'll not be by much, a week or two. EA will be pushing hard for a release this year and I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if DICE were crunching already.

It will get released.

The question is, will they finish it.

They didn't finish BFV, removed anti-cheat (seen more cheats than every BF combined and that isn't an exaggeration) and did the absolute bare minimum for its run.

The franchise is on its last legs, even BF vets who have played for years are ready to look elsewhere.

BF like any franchise could be good again, it won't disappear. It may have what some say are poor releases e.g. the v and 1

The original and the mod scene was great 3/4 were also outstanding I felt

There's definitely some element of nostalgia there but I'm not sure any future titles will ever bring that feeling back to those that played them all.

The direction EA is heading and what they've found works on the masses means we're unlikely to get something with decent gunplay again.

well there is a big event in the summer so reveal will probably be then. not long now. prays its great. also hoping there is great infantry vehicle balance. last thing we need is more tank whoring like nexus or lavving jet whoring like westie :p

What was your favourite A-level Dg? Did you do them all at the same time or like 8 a year? I'm surprised you were able to do more than 4 at the same time due to clashes, or was it all home learning? I imagine you've got what, 2, 3 languages?

Indeed - where did all the 60-90 120hz servers go? And all the tweaks such as 'infantry only, or no sniper, no M320/explosive parameters that could be set by server admins/owners

After BF4, the game 'felt' completely different and hit register went out of the window - since BF4 BF releases have felt like console ports - look nice - played horribly. They got rid of what the game was good at.

EA/DICE (whoever)taking control of the custom servers killed the community aspect of battlefield. The current multiplayer system is uncontrolled and unbalanced and not worth investing any time in.

Rampant cheating with no mod ability to kick or ban players is and was a terrible decision by EA/DICE. On BF3 & 4 you'd develop a sense of community by being a regular on a server and would see the same players again and again night after night and Admins that were actually good, not power hungry ass hats that you get now. And the server tools allowed map votes and team balancing to keep people interested.

The real joke about that is that when a new game is announced they always get asked about third party server rental. The standard response is "we're looking into it" and that's basically the last you ever hear of it. They love to give a non answer before the game launches just to get peoples hopes up.
