128 player should be interesting, I remember MAG on the PS3 could become very un fun when you had to take the last point.

Once again the destruction seems to be a bit more for show rather player controlled and dynamic effect on game play like it was back in the bad company days but we will need to wait for the game play footage to be sure.
 
Finally a rewrite of the base.
skipped BF1 and BFV as they wasn't really good and offers anything new.
This seems more like BF1942 but with todays mechanics and scope and all out warfare just got bigger.
Look forward some gameplay and Beta.
 
Shame they didn't drop last gen console support so they could go all out. My guess is the base game has been tailored for ps4/xbone and then they've just slapped the 128players on for the new systems so im not expecting anything mindblowing, unless the game is heavily cut back like BF3 on the PS3/360 (fractions of the full maps, 24 players etc).

One map looked very similar to shanghai from bf4 and another looked similar to Dawn breaker from bf4, the ice maps were also done in either a bf3 or bf4 expansion. That one map with the crashing vtol and the players jumping off the edge to a lower base looked very similar to a bf3 map as well.

Think you got everything I was thinking of - though I can't really remember map names/game other than I know they're BF3/4 because they're the last ones I played and remember most. Same with some of the vehicles.

Edit: Is "Premium" still a thing? I remember trying to play either bf3 or bf4 with @modd1uk and him being unable to get into the servers because he didn't have premium.

  • Year 1 Pass: 4 New Specialists (1 per Season), 4 Battle Passes (1 per Season), and 3 Epic Skin Bundles (”Blistered Earth”, ”Tempest”, and ”Cold Blood”)
Each season will contain locked specialist then I'm out
Full price game and locking classes or specialist equipment whatever behind season passes? pfft... should be f2p and pay2win
 
probably just means you can own it on xbox also.

like microsoft if you buy their own titles for windows you also can use them on your xbox with the same windows account and usually the game progress is shared also. so same save game on both

microsoft don't charge you twice though it's a free thing since you already own the "title"
