I thought Battlefield 1 in the trenches with hdr looked really good as well.

Bf1 was a really nice looking game, bfv on the other hand had plenty of visibility issues with soldiers essentially blending into the background. Wasn't anything to do with the camo uniforms, had more to do with some of the visual fx they employed in the game.
 
Took me a little while to get over the hero pickups in the BF1, and a few changes since launch that ****** with the way I play. But in the end I enjoyed it, way more than BF5, which I stopped at around 50 hours.

I think BF 1 captured the atmosphere really well, you could almost smell it.

I jumped on 2042 last night and I’ve got to say, it’s actually enjoyable. It feels much more Battlefield like now. I really didn’t like it on release, but it’s improving.

A server browser? What a very novel idea, I mean they’ve only been in battlefield games until 2042 came out. Clearly they’ve been stewing the grey matter to come up with groundbreaking ideas for the next game. Whatever next? Maybe actually completing the game before releasing it? My god, I just developed a nosebleed at the thought of that occurring, I’m getting into lala land with that kind of insane thinking!!

Surely the time to send out these surveys would be when the game is in development?
 
Couldnt sleep so thought would have a quick blast on this, anyway had a little update and after it had installed it took me 3 attempts to load the game, screen just froze which ive never had before, anyone else had problems?

Did seem to be some issues yesterday. I had a black screen at launch until I did a repair on the install, then it launched normally.

Only accidentally on the way to getting the 100 Battlepass. Which rewarded me with absolutely sod all to my annoyance, except some skins and XP bonus that seemed to coincide with with the already running bonus weekends. Fml. :D

It's highly annoying, the only one I have really struggled with..

Read I can create a portal map with people and no modifications and get it that way but I have zero mates on PC.

Play breakthrough, pick your SMG + Paik + smokes and get close to the capture point and you'll get it done pretty quickly as long as you've got an SMG with an extended mag!

Recon with a beacon on an extreme forward flank point protected by a claymore, K30 and extended mag and smokes works a treat. You won't be very popular though. And keep moving the beacon. ;)
 
did that mission with an SMG with big mag - on spearhead breakthrough in the factory bit, pick a fast operator and run about like a nutbag and get 3 kills within a few seconds, then do it again
