Lemme get this straight.

They've buffed the choppers and nerfed the means to kill them.

Lol, methinks some of Dice devs have had too much DMT.

And also MORE jets etc, as if we needed more things in the sky! This company loves vehicles but screw infantry

Dice and their raging hardon for hurr durr 'air vehicles' continues. Pretty sure we have a word for 'air vehicles'...what is it? Oh yeah, Aircraft... but you'd never know that with how Dice and their nutswingers word things.

I sometimes think they should make an aicraft only game seeing as they seem to wedge them into every map they can. Even BFV with that fjell map, it was designed as an infantry map, then some drooling gimp at dice added planes to it so bombers could spam the map and rack up stupid amounts of kills.

This is the most infantry friendly BF game in years - and people will still complain about being killed 3+ times in a game by a little bird and calling all aircraft and vehicles too strong.

Well, you are not wrong about it being the most friendly BF game in years - but dear god, those little birds are far too OP. One half competent pilot in those things and you will find yourself killed so often that you wonder if you have even spawned before yet another death by the Flying BRRRRR.

And yes, a competent team can bring one down quick enough, but give it a few minutes and it will respawn and continue its reign of BRRRRR. I hate them with a passion.

With teamplay, little birds can be taken down easily. Unfortunately teamplay seems lacking in this game :/
Yeah, you only need 1 or 2 other people and controlling the aircraft in this game is pretty straightforward.

They really aren't OP! You get one (sometimes 0 and sometimes 2) per map, it would be madness if a 'power weapon' in Halo was terrible, so why should we expect that the limited use aircraft should be terrible in BF? 2m30 respawn timer isn't exactly short either.

We have so many lock-on launchers/gadgets in this game to deal with it too. You can use Rao and hack the little bird so it disables flares, you can SOFLAM so anyone with a recoiless M5 gets a guaranteed lock on and a 1 hit kill on the little bird, you can use Stinger lock to pop flares or 2 stingers to take down the little bird. You can use Lis and get a guided missile that 1 hits the little bird.

That's without then taking into account the wildcat with it's 2 lock on missiles and 30mm cannons that absolutely shred the little bird. The stealth heli has lock on launchers, the apache has lock on launchers, the rail gun tank has 0 lead needed and can one shot the little bird.

The aircraft in this game are absolutely nothing compared to how they were in BF4. It really is staggering to see how many people can play 1 match where they get taken apart by a top quality pilot and immediately think all helis/aircraft should be nerfed to the point where they're basically removed from the game entirely.

It's Battlefield, it's meant to be chaos across land and sky (and water... although not in this game). I'm a decent pilot, not great - but good enough to be a bit of a menace. There is so much more in this game that you have to 'manage' compared to previous BF games - and then the maps in this game don't really lend themselves well to getting out of missile lock either. It was great that they made it so below 30m you can't be locked onto - but you're basically asking to be hit with an M5 at that height...!

I feel like we're just getting further away from what makes a Battlefield game an actual Battlefield game.

Is it just me or for the past couple of days cheating been rife in 2042,The top 2-3 players on the score board have aimbot aim.

EDIT - See im not alone from @Neil79 comment.

They need to do something about this crap,I hope one day AI anticheats will be able to stop this.
