Good start...

Reshade - Sharpen doesn't work
MSI Afterburner not showing anymore
Game looks like blurry **** even with DLSS off
And black screen, you are offline ( I'm not and have never gone offline )

They have disabled the option in EA app to turn off the EA overlay, which is probably the reason why we can no longer use afterburner overlay

new map is terrible

pitch black and just spamfest 2023

laggy af as well because so much happening in a small area

also game goes black screen everytime i quit a game back to menu and have to alt tab end task

My thoughts exactly - smoke everywhere can't see anything and nade fest. Also got the black screen at end of round and have to alt tab out and quit game.
Have had some fun playing on other maps though tonight as I haven't played since July.
Battlepass looks rubbish. I have 1500 coins but don't think I'll bother as cosmetics don't interest me
 
New map is terrible, just a smoke nade, shotgun spamfest.
As BF players We have gone from 3-4 new maps every 3-4 months back in the day to this lazy effort.

Yep and it doesn't look good either! Lighting is awful and without GE/Reshade sharpening everything up it's a blurry mess

I'm interested to know what you guys thought of Metro in BF3 and Locker from BF4 when they were released?

I basically lived in Locker lobbies (rip server browser) on BF4 and I'm getting the occasional similar vibe at times from the new map, although it does seem to be really dark...

I think my bigger complaint is that rather than Dice finding a way to balance vehicle and infantry combat, they've just gone for a full infantry map. It genuinely feels like they've forgotten how to design maps with this game. They're all a bit 5/10.
 
I didn't mind metro or lockers for what they were (not my favourite but playable when you wanted more instant action, or to unlock things quicker! ) but this is worse, very dark and gloomy and so many grenade / explosives and defence tools make it a mess

This game is battlefield in name only. Its a cobbled together cluster **** that switched direction during development and was released as a retail product when it was barely even beta level.

I'm utterly amazed after this game that EA didn't decide to shelve the franchise, MOH Warfighter wasn't as bad as this and it was the final nail in the coffin for the MOH franchise up until relatively recently with that VR game.
 
On sale Steam / Origin for £7.99 (from £50) if anyone interested. Certainly worth it at that price
Also free to play this weekend

Thought something had bugged my end as msi afterburner not working, came here and see its the same for everyone lol what can we use to see our fps and temps now?
