That sounds awesome, assault with defib, and the possibility of adding things to your gun, also personalised Dog Tags will be great as i love knifing people when ever i get the chance :D
 
I like the idea of the engineer carrying a flashlight which can blind enemies, I also like the idea of personalised dog tags but only if they have more customisation than the ones in Crysis 2 which were quite pathetic and looked like they were implemented last minute.

I'm not sure what to make of the medic and assault classes merging. They are two different classes with two completely different roles in the squad. Will this mean the support class will be responsible for dropping ammunition boxes, or will they be removed from the game entirely?

The attachments sound like something which could be good, but only if they make it realistic, so no adding shotgun and grenade launcher attachments on the same weapon. Hopefully we'll have more options when it comes to sidearms as well, I'd like to have a laser, torch or red dot on a pistol, and I'd also like more variety when it comes to the pistol choice.

Also I'm loving the sound of regional damage on vehicles. Taking out the treads on a tank sounds like great fun and it may even impede the opposition if you can turn one of their own weapons into a roadblock.
 
Like some of the ideas in that OXM article. But as mentioned the assault and medic classes are 2 separate classes. Can't see how they would want to do it. As for support, I'm sure this class was the one who deployed ammunition in BF2? They certainly had LMG's in BF2 like the medics in BC2. Anyhoo after going back to BC2 I'm stoked for this game.
 
Can't wait for this, medic and assault together sounds a bit strange though, if you can't drop ammo then surely it's just a medic with an assault rifle?:confused:

I now have a PC that I would be able to play BF3 on (even if it does mean a bit lower settings), so I'll probably get it on PC.

It does look like they are thinking about the PC version a bit more. Thats the idea I'm getting from the news about the game anyway,
