They cap faster the closer you are to the flag itself so if there are three or four people on top of it it whizzes round really quickly.

Some real bugs, the mounted guns on a lot of vehicles are WAY off, to the extent that in some situations the graphical gun doesn't move but you and your hands do and you still shoot where you're facing, or just the crosshair is completely not where you're shooting. Other than that it's good fun, but

Four man squads need to do one
Squad join is hopeless, half the time you can't even get onto the server, never mind ensure you're on the same side as your mates
Squad play is virtually non-existent unless you're on Discord with a group, but I didn't expect anything less!
 
okay after playing a few hrs in mp and playing 1000s of hrs in bf games in mp i will give my review.

6.5/10 7 being kind.

maps. maps are pretty boring. some are literally like old medal of honor games that got dropped.feel a little rushed. not well designed.
infantry play. some guns are op some are like firing paper. no real balance.
vehicles yet again no balance. any tard can get a tank smash 30-0 or more and be skilless. what made previous really good battlefield games good was great vehicles vs infantry balance. this has none. tanks are sitting off spawn spam spam choke point spam. just skilless.
graphics. for a game of 2018. terrible. now if someone has specifically gone out brought a 2080ti just for this game. i feel almost nautious for you. so many eye blurring things. whatever happened to a clear view ? is it so hard to just see things ?

i can honestly see this game dead few months on pc. pretty much like hardline. shame.

Are you drunk or what? Terrible graphics? Get your eyes examined.

You're babbling about tanks vs infantry balance, that's easier to do in modern games with the numerous lock on "super skillz0r" anti tank weapons, they didn't exist in ww2 so a 60 tonne tank vs a walking flesh bag isn't exactly a fair match no matter what way you slice it. Tanks can stay at range and do damage, moving in closer is a harder thing for them to do with the barrages of panzerfaust weaponry. That one map Arras with the yellow fields, its very easy for infantry to lay prone in the fields and harass tanks with little to no indication to the tank driver where the fire is coming from.

You're also forgetting this is literally the second day of the game, people are figuring stuff out, once people get the maps sussed and get to grips with the bombers it's going to be a very different experience in a couple of weeks time.
 
As for the graphics txaa is causing a lot of blur.

Download reshade and inject a lumasharpen filter cleans it right up, can play without a headache now.

As for the gameplay the only thing I want changing is the movement speed sprint far to fast.

How did you get on with the CD Keys refund? Was it straight forward to do? They have been having some communication issues lately, did you have any problems?

So i am a playing at 240hz on a 1080ti and i dont know about other people but does anyone think that some of the graphics settings make no sense?

Take Taa there is no disable button which is just weird? (and forced blurring is not fun)

Then you move onto vsync and frame limiter which increase my fps (20%+) which is just weird.

I feel like this side of the game things are messed up or some weird coding is going on when you leave a combination of certain settings on and if you disable them it disables portions of the code and lowers your fps.
 
My thoughts

Graphics - Very good
Maps - Not great and not enough of them, should be 10-12 maps on launch minimum, gonna be bored of these real quick. Its also weird to have none of the really famous world war 2 battles in it.
Planes - Literally the worst ever, so bad it's hilarious. Whoever was responsible for them is very bad at their job.

It feels kinda empty tbh, 8 maps really is a joke especially when 2 of them have already been rinsed in the alpha and beta.

DG hasn't bought it, i gave him a code, plus if you use a CD Key it's non-refundable.

Pretty much par for the course with Dice games - BF4 had some messed up settings especially for terrain that didn't always work as intended.

This is one of the reasons why I give them so much stick - they finally (mostly) resolved it in BF4 only for the same kind of bugs to rear their heads again in future titles.

Dunno why anyone gives these clowns their money any more.

For whatever reason, Kaspersky hates this game and was chewing up CPU cycles, so if you have a lot of stutters and running Kaspersky, try pausing it whilst you play.

Runs like a dream now, silky smooth, with some headroom as well.
 
DG said PUBG would be dead in 2 months so based on that statement I predict this game will still have a good sized, solid player base for the foreseeable future. It won’t break records but it won’t be “dead”.

I enjoy it over BF1, just need to remember how to play PC and FPS games again, it’s been a while of not playing either.
 
This is just an addon to battlefield one imo. The maps are terrible and the infantry game play feels like medal of honour war fighter. This game is a big step down from battlefield 3/4

Wait, is this really true?

I've been playing with it enabled since they introduced it in BF4, so naturally I enabled it in V but my mouse feels really weird sometimes... might have to try disabling it now.

Reducing motion blur to zero should help that.

Nothing will ever feel that good again mate, times have changed, the market is aimed at more casual instant gratification these days.
