My 3930k is at 4.6 mem at 2133
Never had lockup’s, just crash to desktop after the patch. Repair of the game solved that. (Also did windows updates and RTSS, but probably a red herring).
If you’re struggling for FPS or runs like turd, ensure you have Future Frame Rendering ON.

Dunno about BF V but in in 4 I got pretty much +1% CPU clock speed = +1% FPS when overclocking my 4820K so the engine probably loves CPU MHz - again not sure if it applies to V but 4 seemed to feel more responsive with higher all core overclock over pushing for the max turbo clock.

I had a check of the settings last night and changed a few things, i've set it to DX12, FFR on, res scale to 120, TXAA to low. I've turning film grain and the other similar settings off, everything else is ultra and while it was only a quick test it was aroun 70-80 fps. Oh i made a mistake, i have a 2600k not a 2700k. I'm going to treat myself to a new amd one next april i think for a change.
It was stable OC for ages but then my PC started crashing constantly. I thought it was the CPU but it was a failing HDD and I removed the OC just never put it back. Been a while since I did that but may give it a go soon.
I got it running fairly stable in the end occasional dips to ~45 but nearly always 60-70 on a mix of settings and a fresh driver install.
It's fun... But it feels a bit restricted at the moment and I got the unfortunate of playing a few maps 3 times in a row (a snow one, can't remember the names yet). I think I prefer BF4 with each class having access to 4 weapon types but the semi-automatic M1A1 is very fun to use and headshots are satisfying. I'll blast it some more tonight but I don't know if I'll buy it once my month is up

Recon is inherently more fun now you can play it in an attacking style.
Can't even get the game to launch, get a BSOD instantly before the menu loads. The beta was fine.
I've tried putting my OC back to stock, reinstalled various graphics drivers. Tried repairing the game.
Any ideas? Ryzen 1700x with a Vega 64
So I fixed this by doing a bios reset. Not sure what the problem was, but my CPU & Mem overclock have been fine for months. Stress tested it for house, never had a crash. Even the Beta BFV worked for hours on end.

BFV crashes a lot when running DX12. Running RX480 with latest drivers. DX11 is smooth as silk but was hoping for better frames under 12. Even still with all settings at ultra I am getting a solid 60fps with ffm on. Haven't really noticed any input lag so will just leave it at that.

For me I think it was capping the fps to 120 that has solved my issues.
It was shocking tho that the game at one point caused a hard reset of the pc!
You may have noticed that you get destroyed as the top gunner on a tank. Thankfully, DICE are implementing a duck and cover function for this.
Also looks a like there's a nerf incoming for bombers. Probably tackling the annihilation at the start of a round.

This should be interesting. Most of the times I was stupid enough to stand up there I got ******* by a Gewehr, zero notice!

Is this game worth getting?
I wasn't sold - and still not - so decided to risk £15 and get Origin Premier for the month. Basically renting the game
It is fun though and the sounds are amazing
I'm enjoying it. They've made some solid changes to some underlying mechanics which have plagued the series of late, the gunplay feels good, as does the net code. Looks great, some good maps (and some Meh ones). Biggest complaint is managing loadouts is a real faff. So many layers of the menu!

Paid £33 for my key. No way in hell was I going to pay for origin premier or deluxe.
I have only played about ten hours actual game time but by 40-50 hours I will have everything unlocked. Also I am not sure if talent has gone down but I was around 2:1 in BF1. Absolutely demolishing the opposition at the moment by comparison.
while i can use xbox controller with my pc i didnt think to use it was i like k/b + mouse shooters, but yes for me the plane in the opening of the game was meh, it was like having inverted controls, mouse not the best over the arrow keys i found, but for me i couldnt seem to change the settings so up means up not down, my trial probably over for the game, but id hope a controller solves the problems.
You can invert the mouse for planes, can't recall where exactly at the moment but I did it when I was adjusting settings. Turned it back to default of course as any sane person should have it
