I can see the TTK or gun accuracy being tweaked tho. You only have to point the gun in someones direction and press shoot to kill.

The Sten I find under powered tho. (I think that's right. The starting gun for the medic class)

Also it's confusing at the moment as they have changed the classes around.

It certainly takes some getting used to now they've messed around with the classes. The bad thing is, you now have run and gun assault armed with rocket launchers.... lol. Noob central.

The Sten I find fantastic on Devasation map.

For me, STG for medium to long range assault and M1907 for close up stuff. The Gewehr is ridiculously powerful/accurate as recon. Sten is good fun as medic. Generally you get most of the best guns as vanilla in BF.

Ordered via CD Keys last night & finished the remainder of the download just after getting back from work earlier.

Just finished playing for the evening after a good few hours on MP. First impressions are overall very good, by default I am a Recon but right away it feels like I'm starting from scratch in terms of getting used to the feel all over again - a vastly different approach to BF1 sniping but I had a good taster of what it would feel like from when I tried out the beta back in September. I seem to be getting better as I go along but I seem to have performed much better from the off with using the Model 8 as soon as it was unlocked - perhaps because of it being semi-automatic and being able to keep up with being fast paced when not far away. I am getting a lot more kills as a result.

Can't wait to progress on and unlock more, especially giving the assault class a proper go this time around too. Really getting into some of new maps too, a bit early to decide which ones are my favorites yet though.

For the record my current setup is a Mini ITX / Ryzen 5 1600 / 2x4GB DDR4 3000Mhz / 1060 6GB / 1080p 75hz w/ 75FPS target. From the very start I tried out having everything on Ultra but FPS averaged around the 50/60 mark depending on the map, however notching the settings down to High returns a constant 75FPS in the maps I've tried out up until now so overall very happy with this currently - especially taking into account overall game play and smoothness is a lot better than the beta. I will be looking to upgrade to 1440p shortly which will also warrant a 1070 as well.

I wish dice would actually test some vfx assets before putting them into the game. Tank vs tank battles are plagued by the explosion effect, you get hit in the front and you basically have a black screen for 3 or 4 seconds, by the time the smoke starts to clear another round hits you and you're back to Stevie Wonder mode. At least in bf1 you could see where the shot was coming from if it was from an enemy in visual range, with this its panic stations trying to get out of the way of shots you don't know the origin of. And good luck with that if you're in a Churchill, a dead beached Whale moves faster.
 
All I want is one thing, nothing else just this one thing, please just do it, put a limit on the snipers lol,

Will Never happen so never mind hey, great game we love the feel it's the first time in about 5 years about 7 of the gang has brought this and actually are liking it.

Well done with this game, few bugs to sort but yeah a great game that I can see lasting for a while again :)

Ultra on all the ones that count. Film grain off. Txaa low.

That’s at 1504/8000 under water

Is anyone using an Xbox controller for the planes? How is it? I tried mouse and keys and it was a disaster...

Are they doing platoons soon?

Just came here to see if anyone mentioned this. Its the effect you see when you are in a down state. Seems to not get removed from you get revived. Get red/blue and green.
 
I wonder if my card is on the way out as I am struggling to even consistently hit 60fps even after turning most settings down. Going to try a fresh install of drivers but mehhhhh.


I wonder if it is my CPU.. It's getting on now a bit a 3930K back at stock speeds but it's never been an issue before
 
You see how well BFV runs. You see how amazing the graphics are even with out RTX.

Then why can't someone like Bethesda make a Fallout game using that engine?

Does the bombed out Rotterdam map not look post apocalyptic?

Fallout or ANY RPG for that matter would look stunning in the Frost bite engine.

The rocks, the snow effects the weather system. Perfect for an RPG.

I'm not sure how big scale the Frostbite engine actually handles (a lot of the maps even single player are actually not as huge, relatively to a true open world type game, as they might at first seem with a lot of background distant scenery you can't actually use) and in more pure single player it has tended to be quite buggy as well - Mass Effect Andromeda for instance.

Yeah I'm getting it too. Mostly green. Also getting a hard crash sometimes when my vega is undervolted & memory overclocked. Seen it once in sw bf2 as well so tweaked vega not playing nicely with frostbite:/
 
What a buggy mess. I've had 3 system lock ups now. I have to hard reset my PC. All other games are absolutely fine.
 
I've not had any issues, touch wood. My cpu is struggling a bit though. 3770k at 4.5ghz and it's practically pinned at 100% on some maps on all cores.

The only thing that bugs me is that church bell defying gravity
